About Gaeddu College

 

Located in Gedu, a town 45 km away from Phuentsholing, Gaeddu College of Business Studies is poised to be the only premier government college under the Royal University of Bhutan offering full time contemporary business and management education in the country.

The College has its campus spread over 289 acres of land four times larger than the other colleges under the Royal University of Bhutan. The original plan of the establishment was first conceived by His Majesty the Fourth King and the Royal Government.
In the 85th session of the National Assembly, the Parliament resolved to establish a premier government business college at Gedu in the campus developed by the Tala Hydroelectric Project Authority (THPA) which is a joint project between the Government of India and the Royal Government of Bhutan. With the intension of establishing a full fledged premier business college at Gedu, the Royal University of Bhutan decided to shift the faculty of Commerce from Sherubtse College to the newly established college.
The present Director, Mr.Lhato Jamba was then appointed by the Royal Government as the Project Director to lay the foundation and supervise the modifications of the existing infrastructure into an educational institution. Subsequently he took over as the first director of the college.

I am really impressed with your behaviour in the college. I appreciate to your good help cultivated to the junior friends' and without you, we are nothing. however i am happy that you people are getting pass-out soon with a smile face.

I am regret that i could not come to each and every one of you to say thanks, due to lack of time.
